The SSCP stainless steel linear motors have excellent thermal behaviour and can therefore be passively cooled very well. The intelligent design of the drives allows the use of an enlarged slider diameter with a fixed stator size, resulting in improved performance data.
In order to eliminate the formation of condensation water in the motor, the motor housing was cast under vacuum. This keeps the interior free of air pockets in which condensation could form at changing temperatures. In terms of motor maintenance, the user benefits from the modular design of the motors, where the bearing can be replaced very easily. The plain bearing material used is also specially designed for use in the food and pharmaceutical industries and is FDA-approved.
Our stainless steel linear motors can also be used as complete drive solutions by means of linear guides.

Many users wish they could combine the advantages of flow-rate metering and piston metering in one rotary filling machine. Tölke, a specialist in packaging machinery, has pulled off this feat by using LinMot linear motors.
Skala Maskon has developed the VX-8 machine, which can automatically vaccinate up to 20,000 fish per hour. This revolution in fish farming is made possible by the use of a high-performance image processing system in conjunction with dynamic, compact stainless steel linear motors rated at IP69K from LinMot.
Valka, an Icelandic hightech company that designs and builds progressive systems for fish processors, is equipping its grading and sorting machinery with LinMot stainless steel motors for the speed and accuracy demanded in a difficult washdown environment.
Cutting cooked poultry breast fillets into thin slices in such a way that the natural shape of the high-quality product is preserved has not been possible in an automated way until now. The specialist for poultry meat slicers, Food Technology Thielemann, has now presented a solution for this task as a world first.
