Linear Modules

If a complete drive solution is required, LinMot offers ready-made linear modules. These consist of linear guides and permanently integrated LinMot stators and optionally built-in “magnetic springs” MagSpring and a pneumatic holding brake.

Carefully engineered shafts guided by linear ball bearings ensure precise linear motion. Improvements in material and design allow the drive unit to achieve a higher bending stiffness while maintaining a light moving mass. The «Plug and Play» technology available within these guided motors makes drive commissioning quick and simple.

Linear Guides

LinMot offers two basic types of guides, moving slider or moving stator.Our moving slider linear guides allow for dynamic and precise load positioning in a very compact package. Our moving stator guides offer a high guidance accuracy, a precise load positionig and a reliable operation even with heavy loads and over a long distance.

Linear modules and linear guides in stainless steel versions

LinMot offers linear modules and linear guides in stainless steel versions. This high degree of protection of these versions is suitable for applications in the pharmaceutical or food industry.

Linear module SM01/SM02

• Motor housing and mounting parts made of stainless steel 1.4404 (AISI 316L)
• Guide rods optionally in surface-hardened stainless steel 1.4404 (AISI 316L)
• Guide with linear ball bearings and food-grade lubricant (NSF H1) or plain guide with FDA-approved polymer bearings
• High resistance to chemicals
• Suitable for “wash-down” with protection class IP69
• Optimally designed for “in-place” cleaning processes such as CIP and SIP
