Fieldbus interfaces
The variety of fieldbus interfaces and protocols enables the easy integration of LinMot servo drives into any controller, be it a PLC, an industrial PC or a proprietary controller.
The connection to the higher-level control system can be established via analog, digital, or serial interfaces, fieldbuses, or Ethernet. The wide variety of fieldbus interfaces and protocols allows for the easy integration of LinMot servo drives into any control system, be it a PLC, an industrial PC, or a proprietary controller.
Profinet
Profinet drives were developed for operation with Siemens controllers. Profinet drives are available with RT and IRT for point-to-point or NC applications using the PROFIdrive profile:
- C1150 series with ProfiNet RT for point-to-point movements
- E1250 and C1250 series with Profinet RT and IRT with PROFIdrive for NC-Motion
- E1450 and C1450 series with Profinet RT and IRT with PROFIdrive for NC-Motion
- Safety: Drives available with and without STO
- Functional safety PL d with SLS, SOS, SS2, SBC via ProfiSave is in preparation
- The complete drive configuration can be loaded via Profinet.
- Simplest integration into NC controls via Profinet IRT and ProfiDrive
- Pre-programmed Function blocks for integration into Siemens controllers available with Profinet RT
Profibus
Profibus drives were developed for operation with Siemens controllers. For new applications, the use of ProfNet is now recommended. E1130 and E1250 series with Profibus:
- E1430 series with Profibus
- The complete drive configuration can be loaded via Profibus.
- Pre-programmed Function blocks for integration into Siemens controllers Available with Profibus
EtherCAT
EtherCAT drives were developed for operation with controllers from various manufacturers that offer this standardized bus.
- C1150 series for point-to-point movements
- E1250 and C1250 series for NC-Motion
- E1450 and C1450 series for point-to-point movements and NC motion
- Drives with CoE and CiA402 or SoE available
- EoE with C1250
- Safety: Drives available with and without STO
- Functional safety PL d with SLS, SOS, SS2, SBC via Safety over EtherCAT (FSoE) in preparation
- The complete drive configuration can be loaded via EtherCAT.
- Pre-programmed Function blocks and example for integration into EtherCAT controllers In Stock
Ethernet IP
Ethernet IP drives were designed for operation with Rockwell controllers. LinMot is an official Rockwell Encompass Partner and ODVA certified bus compatibility.
- E1250 and C1250 series for point-to-point movements and NC motion
- E1450 and C1450 series for point-to-point movements and NC motion
- Safety: Drives available with and without STO
- Functional safety PL d with SLS, SOS, SS2, SBC via CIP Safety in preparation

DeviceNet
DeviceNet drives were designed for use with Rockwell controllers. For new applications, the use of Ethernet/IP is now recommended. LinMot is an official Rockwell Encompass Partner.
- B1100 and E1100 series with DeviceNet
- The complete drive configuration can be loaded via DeviceNet.
- Pre-programmed Function blocks for integration into Rockwell controllers Available with Ethernet IP
Sercos III
Sercos III Drives were developed for operation with controllers of various types that offer this standardized drive bus.
- E1250 and C1250 series for point-to-point movements and NC motion
- E1450 and C1450 series for point-to-point movements and NC motion
- Direct integration into the control concept using the standardized Sercos protocol
- Safety: Drives available with and without STO
- Functional safety with SLS, SOS, SS2, SBC via Open Safety is in preparation
- Pre-programmed examples for integration into various controllers with Sercos III are available.
Powerlink
Powerlink Drives were designed for use with B&R controllers.

- E1450 and C1450 series with Powerlink

LinUDP was developed for controlling LinMot drives via the Ethernet interface on a PC. This allows for easy integration into LabVIEW, Visual Basic, Excel, and other Windows-based programs. E1250 and C1250 series with LinUDP.

- The complete drive configuration can be loaded via CANopen.

LinRS
LinRS drives were developed for controlling LinMot drives via RS232 or RS485 interfaces. This allows for easy integration into LabVIEW, Visual Basic, Excel, and other Windows-based programs. For new applications, Ethernet drives with LinUDP are available as an alternative.
