1. Privacy policy
NTI AG / LinMot GmbH respects your privacy and handles your personal data with the utmost care. We comply with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This Privacy Policy informs you about how NTI AG / LinMot GmbH uses the data collected about you (referred to as "personal data," see definition below). 4. What personal data does NTI AG / LinMot GmbH collect about you?
4.1 Personal data that you provide to us directly
When you contact us with a purchase inquiry or contact our customer support staff by email, telephone, or in person, we may collect your personal data, such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, and contact preferences, as well as certain data relating to the NTI AG / LinMot GmbH products or devices you have purchased, such as serial numbers and purchase date. We may also create logs/reports to facilitate troubleshooting product or application problems and collect information about the specific issue. We use this data to provide you with our customer and product support. During remote support sessions, we record the actions performed in a video for quality assurance purposes. We only record and/or access remote support sessions if it complies with applicable legal regulations and will never do so without informing you.

Subscription services are provided by us exclusively in compliance with applicable legal regulations and can be cancelled at any time.
4.3.2 Uploading personal data to the NTI AG / LinMot GmbH – LinMot website
In addition to the previously mentioned methods of collecting your personal data, we may also collect personal data that you provide by uploading content (e.g., videos or photos) to our websites or online applications. In such cases, we may collect the following personal data from you for the purpose of publishing the content on our websites or online applications: name, email address, and any other personal data included in your upload. The collection of data from uploaded content is carried out exclusively in compliance with applicable legal regulations.

When you purchase products or devices from NTI AG / LinMot GmbH, contact our customer support staff, create an account or profile for one of our services, or subscribe to one of our services, you may have the option to opt in to receive marketing correspondence (or opt out, to the extent permitted by applicable law). We do not share personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may also use your personal data to personalize and target your marketing communications more effectively, ensuring the relevance of all our marketing correspondence to you as much as possible.
